Caution voters

The Candidates’ Forum was an ideal way to meet all the candidates and gain insight into determining who is best suited to represent our town.

The Candidates’ Forum was an ideal way to meet all the candidates and gain insight into determining who is best suited to represent our town.

The general opinion of the candidates was to consult the public prior to making any major decisions; however, when the question was asked if they were in favor of moving the public library from downtown to the new school, there were those who responded with a blatant NO before public consultation as a whole.

How do these people expect to pay for a library downtown? The benefit of a new library in a new school is not only an attractive opportunity, but it is also economically feasible for our town and future generations. Stop expecting our young people to pay the bill after you’re gone.

I encourage all age groups to vote.
