Members of the Boyle Healthcare Centre Auxiliary have drawn who will light their Tree of Hope in this years Christmas festivities.
The auxiliary selected the past members of the Boyle Fire Department to light the tree on Dec. 6 at the Boyle Healthcare Centre.
The past members of the Boyle Fire Department were drawn at random. Businesses, organizations and individuals who donated at least $250 to the Tree of Hope fund were eligible for the draw.
At the time of the draw, the auxiliary had more than 10 donors that donated at least $250, as well as countless others that had donated various amounts.
The Tree of Hope campaign is trying to raise more than $20,000 this year for the purchase of a coagulation analyzer.
Donations are still being accepted, and on Nov. 21-22 and 28-29, members of the auxiliary will be at the Boyle Co-op and Aspen AG Foods to collected donations.
According to Lois Bourret with the auxiliary, helping out the Boyle Healthcare Centre works to help out everyone in the long run.
"The more we do this the better," said Bourret.
"It benefits the hospital and it benefits everyone."
