Athabasca RCMP seek information on main street vandalism incident

According to an RCMP release, during the early morning hours of April 10 a rock was thrown through the window of a business in the 4800 block of 50 Street. Police are seeking information about the incident from members of the public.

ATHABASCA — Athabasca RCMP are seeking the public’s help in identifying the person responsible for breaking a window along main street. 

According to an April 13 release from Const. Kyle Hotchkiss, the detachment received a morning report that a rock had been thrown through the window of a business in the 4800 block of 50 Street. 

Responding officers determined the vandalism likely occurred in the early hours of April 10, between 12:30 a.m. and 1:30 a.m. The incident is believed to be isolated and not part of a targeted attack on the business.
