ATHABASCA — Residents in the area of 54 Street and the 53a Street Cul de sac will notice utility construction work in the on April 25 and 26 as crews upgrade water infrastructure in the neighbourhood.
According April 23 to posts on the Town of Athabasca social media and advisory channels, work is expected to take place in the area west of the New Western Athabasca Inn between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday.
No water service interruptions are anticipated with the upgrades, but disruptions may occur depending on the nature of the work.
Residents are asked to avoid travel in the area and proceed cautiously around equipment and crew members on site.
